Denise Dawidowski has always loved all things hair. She started doing hair as a teenager in her mother’s kitchen. After attending cosmetology school in the late 90's, she went on to become a professional hair stylist. Denise would continue doing hair for the next 15 years before laying down her shears. In 2019,  Denise gave birth to her son and shortly after began to experience postpartum hair loss, something she had not experienced with her other two children. After months of shedding and her hair going from bra strap length to shoulder length, Denise started researching the ingredients in hair products and noticed not many were safe for textured hair. Denise wanted to do something to change that. She drew from the knowledge she gained in cosmetology school which helped her create a healthy hair care routine along with safe products for a community of people. Since launching Korzen Hair products, Denise has made it her mission to share what she's learned and encourage others to use safer products.
